iPhone, Safari
- Open fieldfare.frameinfocus.com in Safari;
- Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen;
- Open Fieldfare from your home screen, not the browser.
Android, Chrome
- Open the same address in Chrome;
- Tap Install when Chrome offers it, or the three-dot menu then Add to Home screen;
- Open Fieldfare from your home screen.
There is no account, no server and no feed. Nothing is uploaded. Your data leaves the phone only when you export it, and then it goes wherever you choose. Because it lives only on your phone, export a backup now and then.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Photos, names, notes and GPS all work offline. Weather and map tiles need a connection.
What if I get a new phone?
Export a ZIP from Settings, then import it on the new phone. Duplicates are skipped.
Does it identify things for me?
No. You name your finds, or leave them Unidentified. That is a legitimate state.
